Thank you Bishop Spong, for empowering my ministry in a hate filled community, for encouraging my continued dialogue with bigots and for the power to serve the incredible God of Love manifest in the Creator, Sustainer and Encourager. I pray our magnificent God's continued blessings on your extra-ordinary ministry. Please continue the Gospel of Love to ALL!

Thank you, Bishop Spong, for declaring victory in Christ for so many people. Indeed, the rhetoric (if it can be called that) of this reconcilliation has been tortured and often (usually)without merit. By simply observing the intelligent conclusion that we are all reconcilied in Christ by baptism and communion, we move beyond the need to give voice to the blasphemy of hatred and bias by engaging those who speak it. I hope that the church, the House of Bishops, the Presiding Bishop, and the Presbyters find the Grace that will move this understanding into practice, and into the liturgy and life of the Church. I thank God for your work, your faith, and your example. In Peace, Scott Kovacs
